Friends Provide Info at June 6 Events

Friends Board members provided information on the Friends and Anoka County Library at two events on June 6.

The Summer Reading Kickoff, featuring F1rst Wrestling, drew over 200 people. Anoka County Library staff ran a variety of games and provided an opportunity to sign up for a library card. Friends members hosted an ice cream truck and handed out information about the Friends of the Anoka County Library. For more information on Summer Reading events, see Summer Adventures.

Friends of the Anoka County Library were also represented at "Anoka Pride Day: Celebrate Love & Acceptance" at Anoka's Riverfront Memorial Park. The free, family-friendly event brought together residents, local businesses, and visitors for a day filled with connection, creativity, and celebration. The Friends booth featured a game, prize drawings, and, of course, information on the Friends and Anoka County Library.
